The use of graham cracker crumbs as a pie or cheese cake base is an old idea, but Bernard has some new ideas for you. We have taken premium grade graham crumbs and blended them with Pure Vegetable Shortening and other ingredients to improve flavor and handling.
We Save You Labor and Waste
For soft dessert uses simply spoon the Crumb Crust Mix into the pan and press down firmly. This is all that is needed to prepare Crumb Crust for Cheese Cake and other soft desserts.
For a firmer crust, follow the same directions for use with soft desserts and then place the pressed-down crumb crust in a 350 degree oven for six (6) to eight (8) minutes before adding the filling to the crust. The crust will then be set enough to cut cleanly. Chill and serve.
